I’m originally from Carlisle where my career in media started as a script writer at CFM before working at other radio stations such as Gem106 in Nottingham and Metro Radio in Newcastle. In these roles I was working with voiceovers every day and it wasn’t too long before I transferred my craft to behind the mic.  But as an ex-writer, I certainly appreciate the skill that goes into any script!

Since then, I’ve maybe lost my flair for writing (can you tell by reading this?) but I’m lucky enough to have been trusted with some of the biggest brands trying to gain that approachable tone of voice when talking to their viewers, customers, employees, suppliers or students as well as being recognised with various VOX and One Voice awards.

The reads I offer vary from an accessible, natural and chirpy delivery with comic timing, to a read closer to the mic for a deep, reflective impact or something smoother and glossier: all of-course tied up in a lovely northern bow.
